January Meeting Agenda: Approved
December Meeting Minutes: Deferred approval until February meeting.
Treasurer’s Report:
- GIPAC Account Balance $ 3448.96
- $1000 received in donations
- $680 paid out
- Secretary of State yearly business complete, IRS issue being worked on still.
Public Comment:
- Frea had a question about how the county handles variances.
Updates/New Business:
- Follow-up on GIPAC letter to BoCC re/ Ferry Committee: GIPAC members to review letter. Do we want the letter signed by Kyle or signed by GIPAC? Board members to review and approve by Jan 13
Website:
- There is a cost to develop & maintain. There will be ongoing maintenance & updating that needs to happen. Once the website is up and running, maintenance should be minimal.
- On website: Who we are, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, comment letters, ongoing projects, etc…
Fundraising:
- Open to different forms of payment.
- Mail check to PO Box, Online platforms but preference not to pay big fees, Once a year fundraiser would be good way to raise money and awareness.
Ferry:
- Our role: Send letter and see where it goes. Remain separate but supportive of GIFC. Board needs to focus on GIPAC issues. GIFC welcomes all GIPAC members to attend regularly to be involved and show support.
South Shore Road:
- Not much we can do at the moment. Stay engaged with the county on TIP
