GIPAC Account Balance: $6,335.76
Roz Glasser Account: $0
Received $100 donation.
Election of 2024 GIPAC Board Positions:
Chair: Michael Brown
Vice Chair: Allen Bush
Treasurer: Jep Burdock
Secretary: Gabe Murphy
Regular Business:
Steve did the annual corporation filing for GIPAC. Steve will donate the $20 fee.
USGS: Steve wrote the USGS update/summary to go on linetime. Gabe to post from GIPAC.
The USGS report was delayed due to beaver pond being added to the study. GIPAC had not heard that the study was delayed until the annual meeting. A discussion was had about the beaver pond.
GIPAC is driving for a groundwater management plan and water budget as a result of USGS study.
There was a brief discussion about PFAS and the likelihood of that on Guemes. Need to reach out to GIFD.
There is a need to follow up with Parks regarding plans for Young’s remediation.
There was a discussion about the Skagit County plan to develop the Guemes side ferry parking lot. Should GIPAC ask to review those plans?
