Public Comment:
Richard gave an introduction about himself. The board asked questions and gave summaries of the island issues such as: ferry, ferry insurance, tax base, population, well drilling, rainwater catchment, seawater intrusion, and aquifer.
Updates/New Business
What’s next for C23-1:
Steve, Jep, Kathy, Allen went to the meeting. June 11th is Planning Commission “deliberation” July 1 is BoCC work session, July 23 is BoCC deliberation with planning commission.
Ferry subcommittee discussion:
Allen went to the county Staff Briefing: PW talked about e-tickets and ADA compliance, sounds like the plan submitted to the city of Anacortes is the same as the one at the public meeting.
Kathy is working to schedule a visit to the island by the Health department staff for rainwater catchment. Keith Higgman said Thursdays or Fridays were best for him.
