Updates/New Business:
- Update on GIPAC table at Art Tour: Thanks to the members that could be there.
- Skagit Transit Pilot Project Next Steps
- The 6 month pilot just started when the ferry came back into service. GIPAC members should promote the pilot service through various means.
- Ferry Issues:
- Anacortes Dock: There was a long discussion about Anacortes terminal plans, hazards of battery storage, and the electric ferry in general.
- Guemes parking lot paving project – GIPAC would like to reach out to public works about the parking lot project in an attempt to provide feedback.
- Status of Comp Plan and CAO update
- GIPAC submitted comments on the Comprehensive Plan changes, and will monitor the situation as it unfolds.
- GIPAC “business”
- Board member recruitment: Several board members have been putting feelers out into the community.
- Website update: Allen to put maps and C-23 info on website.
