Treasurer’s Report:

GIPAC Account Balance: $5107.96

Public Comment: None

Updates/New Business:

  • Discuss how far back we want to go with minutes on GIPAC website – decided to go back to 2020, will wait for the March meeting to determine the mechanics
  • Other website improvements – upgrade Word Press platform for adding Zeffe for fundraising capabilities. There will be additional cost.

Prepare for Upcoming Parking Lot meeting – discussion concerning the February 10

meeting with Public Works. Addressed ADA concerns and the boat launch ramp.

Getting Started on 2026 Projects:

  • Updates on Pam Rollins well: Her well was approved; we need more info on how the county handled her application.
  • Update on ADU’s: Evergreen Islands challenge was successful and the ADU provision in comp plan update has been deleted; Kathy to follow-up with EI on their next steps
  • Wildfire Evacuation Routes – Pat will be in contact with Chief Cole to help develop a plan. If the plan is in place by November, GIPAC will present it at the annual meeting.
  • Youngs Park – discuss response to follow-up from Allen’s outreach to Parks – Sculpture will be installed at the lower section of the park next week.
  • Allen will reach out to Bryan Adams before he retires concerning the upper portion’s reclamation.
  • Boundary Review Board – Allen gave us a brief update. Nothing much to report yet.
  • Real Estate Agent education on wells/rainwater – discussion about best approach to real estate agents who service the island. It was suggested that Michael talk with Anya Mayo to start.
